We're really excited to introduce you to our new automated laser system designed for
high-volume paper processing.
The GS1200 can process more than 1000 sheets of paper per hour and uses 'cutting on air' technology to prevent back-reflections of the laser beam and ensure the highest quality finish on every piece. Any wastage is automatically removed and holding brackets keep the paper stable and in focus of the lens while a flat pile feeder, automated paper path and a sheet stacker complete the automated system.
Get an idea of what the GS1200 is capable of by watching our video.
Perfect finishing for digital printing products
Register marks are detected allowing printed paper to be individually engraved and delicately cut. Printing deviations are picked up by the SpeedMark Vision software and the cutting path is automatically adjusted so the cutting lines always perfectly match the print.Laser cutting with a difference
Our patent pending cutting on air solution ensures high quality finished products and the best cutting results on every job. This feature prevents back-reflections of the laser beam on the product and enables the automatic disposal of any cutting waste, while the holding brackets keep the paper stable and in focus. What our customers say
In addition to the GS1200, the GS1000 completes the GS series. Here's what Trotec customer Rob Payne from Patternise has to say about his GS1000:"Our GS1000 enabled us to support one of our regular clients on a large scale and aggressive Christmas project, requiring just under 1 million sheets (4 million components) cut in little over 40 days. The GS was operated continuously for 1032 hours with zero unplanned downtime.
The GS has enabled our business to take on high volume paper processing jobs that were simply impossible to process on our standard Trotec laser plotters and allowed us to better support our clients and meet the most demanding timeframes."
