Trotec Laser At Architecture Expo Ireland

This week Trotec Laser was at the RDS in Dublin for the coming together of architects, prototypers and model makers at Architecture Expo.
We took along the Speedy 100 and Speedy 300 flat bed laser cutters to demonstrate the precision cutting, engraving and marking capabilities of our laser machines to the industry.

Trotec Launch New Laser Engraver: Speedy 360

Trotec are proud to reveal our newest laser engraving machine, the Speedy 360

Designed with Trotec's ethos of making customers more profitable, the midsize laser machine offers a bedsize which increases the useable space of standard sheet material. Created with accessibility in mind, the laser engraver has no front crossbar and a fully flexible front cover, allowing the user to quicky and comfortably load and unload material.

Also available in flexx, Trotec's patented technology which offers two laser sources, both CO2 and fiber in one machine, the Speedy 360 can process a range of materials including anodised aluminium, acrylic, metals, fabric, wood, paper and textiles.

Laser cut tutorial: Board Game

The Combustable Lemons: Laser Cut Business Cards

Laser cut business cards created by The Combustable Lemons in preperation for the First Tech Challenge World Championship.
If you would like to try them youself a 0.009inch paper stock worked well for Greg with the following settings: Power 25, Speed 4, 2000 Hz on their Speedy 100 30 watt laser.
The flexibility of the laser allows The Combustable Lemon's to make a wide range of products including name tags, robot armour and sponsor plaques as well as try out further designs on their business cards such as intricately cut flames.

In June Trotec celebrated the grand opening of our 7th showroom in the UK and Ireland.

We welcomes Scottish clients into the new showroom which is located in Stirling to discuss how a Trotec laser can help make their business more profitable, whether they have cutting, engraving or marking requirements.

Trotec's new mini trade show stand is winging its way to The NEC in Birmingham ready for the Advanced Manufacturing trade show as part of SubCon.

SpeedMarker GS Demonstrated in Ireland for First Time

Preperations are underway today by the Trotec team in Ireland as we get ready for DSCOOP - The Digital Solutions Cooperative 2015 in Dublin.

Trotec are proud to showcase high speed paper cutter, the SpeedMarker GS, which recently launched in the UK earlier this year at trade show, Sign & Digital. This will be the first time this impressive machine will be demonstrated with full automation, including paper feeder and stacker in the UK and Ireland.

The laser cutter, designed specifically for the precision cutting of printed products, paper and card, which also offers the option of engraving and perforating, will not be available in showrooms. We are pleased to offer customers a limited number of VIP tickets to the event on Friday 5th June which is usually open to members only. Trotec's SP3000 large format laser cutter revealed at FESPA

At FESPA, Trotec Laser revealed the new SP3000 laser cutter, the largest flatbed in the Trotec range, suitable for heavy duty cutting applications. The 2.2m x 3.2m laser cutter is the perfect solution for processing thick fabrics such as rugs and automotive air bags as well as large signage requirements and industrial applications such as processing films. injection molded parts and wood . It was revealed alongside Trotec's high speed paper cutter, the SpeedMarker GS which launched in the UK earlier this year.
